Overall, I think that Pepsi has a better marketing mix. I believe this because Pepsi has a much broader range of products. Coca-Cola just has beverages where Pepsi also has a chip brand called Frito Lay, and a cereal brand called Quaker. Their promotion is also a lot better than Coca-Cola's because other than the Polar Bear ads, Coke has nothing. Pepsi uses celebrities in their ads and they also just began the Pepsi Refresh Project. Since they own Frito Lay, the own Doritos which is one of the most popular chip brands in the world. Doritos' have an excellent marketing campaign right now where contestants make their own commercials and send the into the company and the competitor with the best commercial wins $100,000. Even though I like the Coca-Cola soft drink better than Pepsi's soft drink, I still think Pepsi has a better marketing mix.
Good arguments Brandon. Pepsi has been very successful as a whole company. They know they can't beat Coke with just their colas.
